Free educational stuff for your ipod / phone
April 8, 2008iTunes U is now online, and will allow you to download college lectures and other seminars for free. I just downloaded Duke Chapel’s complete performance of Mozart’s Requiem … New York Public Library is even offering their debates and seminars online there.
To get to it: Launch iTunes, click on the iTunes Store, then click on iTunes U from the left-hand side menu.

April 2, 2008I don’t know if any of you all have ever seen Heavy Metal Parking Lot. It’s a documentary about heavy metal fans hanging outside the Capital Center before a Judas Priest concert in 1986. This is a trailer, but contains a small clip of a girl from Glen Burnie discussing how she’d like to fuck Rob Halford (who has since come out). It’s priceless.
